About the Role

As Director of Digital Agriculture, you will be responsible for leading the commercial strategy, driving business development, and establishing key strategic partnerships within the North American market. Your role will focus on accelerating the adoption of digital farming technologies, increasing market share, and optimizing the commercial performance of digital agriculture products and solutions.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, and operations to execute strategies that deliver long-term, sustainable growth in an increasingly competitive market. This is a high-impact role with significant influence over the company’s growth trajectory and North American market presence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the company’s digital agriculture solutions across North America, focusing on market expansion and customer acquisition

  • Drive revenue growth through direct sales, channel partnerships, and strategic alliances with key players in agriculture, including farmers, agronomists, and technology providers

  • Lead business development efforts, identifying new opportunities, negotiating deals, and cultivating long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the digital farming ecosystem

  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure a seamless go-to-market strategy, tailored to North American needs and market trends

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity, using insights to continuously refine commercial approaches and ensure the company remains ahead of the curve

  • Manage and mentor a high-performing commercial team, providing leadership, guidance, and coaching to drive team performance and success

  • Represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to build brand presence and foster thought leadership in the AgTech space


About You

  • Proven experience in a commercial leadership role within digital agriculture, AgTech, or precision farming industries

  • Strong track record of driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, and scaling business operations across North America

  • Deep understanding of the agriculture sector, including the challenges and opportunities faced by farmers and agri-businesses, with a strong interest in digital innovation

  • Exceptional strategic and business acumen, with the ability to understand market dynamics, customer needs, and technology trends

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious commercial goals

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across various levels of the business

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (Agriculture, Business, Technology, etc.)

  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus

  • Willingness to travel across North America as needed
