As they continue to expand, they are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Lead to help scale their impact and drive growth across new markets.


About the Role

As Business Development Lead, you will be responsible for driving the adoption of advanced precision spraying technology among farmers, agronomists, and agricultural businesses. You will play a key role in identifying new market opportunities, nurturing strategic partnerships, and executing go-to-market strategies.

You’ll collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop tailored solutions for your customers, demonstrating the value of precision spraying to improve productivity, reduce chemical usage, and support sustainable agriculture practices.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the company’s growth strategy for precision crop spraying solutions

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across targeted regions, working closely with potential customers and partners

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders in agriculture, including growers, agronomists, distributors, and industry groups

  • Position the technology as a key tool in achieving sustainable and efficient crop management practices

  • Conduct product demonstrations, client presentations, and training sessions to promote the benefits of the solution

  • Collaborate with the product and technical teams to ensure the solution is tailored to meet customer needs

  • Provide market feedback and contribute to the development of marketing materials and product positioning

  • Attend relevant industry events, conferences, and trade shows to generate leads and raise brand awareness


About You

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within agritech, crop protection, or precision agriculture

  • Strong understanding of agricultural operations, crop management practices, and farm technology

  • Experience in introducing new technology solutions to the agriculture market

  • A consultative sales approach, with the ability to communicate complex technological solutions in an accessible and compelling way

  • Highly self-motivated with excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills

  • Comfortable with international travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events

  • Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Spanish, German, French) are an advantage
