About the Role

We are delighted to be working on a retained basis with an innovative and mission-driven company in the biologicals sector, as they search for a visionary Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to accelerate their next phase of international growth.

Based in Switzerland, this is a unique leadership opportunity to join a company that’s redefining sustainable agriculture through cutting-edge biological solutions—offering natural alternatives to synthetic inputs and supporting global food security, environmental health, and farmer resilience.


About the Role

The CGO will take full ownership of the company’s growth strategy, working alongside the CEO and senior leadership team to scale the commercial side of the business. This will include oversight of sales, marketing, business development, strategic partnerships, and market entry planning across key global regions.

You’ll bring deep understanding of biological inputs, combined with a sharp commercial instinct and the ability to lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

This role offers significant scope to shape the future of the company’s global footprint and play a pivotal role in advancing sustainable agriculture at scale.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the company’s global growth strategy, with a focus on commercialisation of biologicals in key markets

  • Lead and build world-class commercial teams across sales, marketing, and business development

  • Identify and secure strategic partnerships, distribution channels, and key accounts

  • Oversee go-to-market strategies for new and existing product lines

  • Align growth plans with regulatory landscapes, market dynamics, and customer needs

  • Represent the company at global industry events and with strategic partners

  • Contribute to fundraising and investor relations efforts, where required

  • Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and board on commercial matters


About You

  • Proven track record in a senior commercial or growth leadership role in biologicals, crop inputs, agritech, or life sciences

  • Deep understanding of the global biologicals market, including market trends, regulatory frameworks, and innovation pipelines

  • Demonstrated success in scaling companies and entering new markets, ideally across Europe, North America, and/or LATAM

  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to build and inspire high-performing, cross-functional teams

  • Comfortable in an agile, entrepreneurial environment with a purpose-driven culture

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
